Testimonials

Hi Lorna & Rolly,

I am reminded and so grateful for the wonderful care Carol was blessed to have with your staff and the other earth angels that helped her while she was in your home. Carol didn’t get to really enjoy the house and the other guests long because her short stay was really at the end of the disease that ultimately made her bedridden and took her life. But even so, through her stay there, she laughed, sang, talked, and even played her piano a bit until she couldn’t anymore. I know she loved you all and was very happy in your home.

Thank you Lorna and Rolly again for taking her in under your loving care. I only hope I am as lucky if I ever have to be put somewhere. Thank you both for working with me harmoniously as her sister and as her Power of Attorney making things easier for me to do what was necessary to make her stay happy and comfortable. I am grateful we worked together so well and I appreciate the respect you both always gave me with my concerns and requests.

My heart will hold our wonderful memories together until we one day meet again.

Hope all is well and happy with you both and your family.

Blessings and love always,

Debi

I thought you might like to read my feelings regarding living at LRCare Home.

My first impression was marvelous: The room was very comfortable and adequate in size. There was a great view into a lovely patio, and in time I know I will grow to love working in the surrounding areas. I was amazed at the cleanliness of each bedroom, bathroom, and dining areas. This was a constant thing maintained by the caregivers.

My caregiver was — and still is — an absolute godsend.

I was given a wonderful place to work: a grand table for cutting, gluing, and applying paper backgrounds. We are a family of six people at LRCare: three gentlemen and three ladies. The owners are marvelous. Lorna is a dream — she can never do enough for the six of us. Rolly is a jewel; he takes care of all structural needs, both inside and out.

Press on — My daughter, who is an angel and does so much for me… I simply can’t get along without her. She does everything for me. Right now she is trying to get me transportation for a trip to the doctor’s office, and it really is very hard to do, but we will prevail.

We love the Ryann home!

The staff is amazing, the food is delicious, and they are very accommodating to our parents needs and wants. They provide a very warm and caring environment.

It gives our family great peace of mind knowing they are truly cared about and valued.

As we start the New Year I feel that it is important to take a minute to Thank You and your staff for your excellent care and attention to my step mother, Joy.

She has been such an important part of my life since the passing of my father and her health and well-being are very important to me. You and your staff have been instrumental in getting Joy's diabetes and blood sugars under control, along with her other health issues. Everyone is very patient with her and her dementia, along with her sometimes very stubborn and non-compliant attitude. I am very grateful and constantly blessed that Joy is in your care. When I came across LRCare I quickly noted your interest in Joy's needs and what you could do to handle them. I saw your willingness to talk about options that would benefit Joy and her progress to improve her health, acceptance and overall transition. I saw a genuine concern about Joy. Unfortunately this was not universal in all the homes that I visited.

In short, you and your staff have shown to me that you have a vested interest in Joy, her mental and physical health and well-being. I see caregivers that form a connection with the residents while maintaining a professional attitude and owners that are willing to talk and work with the families and doctors to achieve the best level of care. There is professionalism yet a friendship shared. You are always accessible to our concerns and you work with us to find a solution. You allow Joy a sense of self control while working with her Dementia, you work with me to accomplish desired goals and help me understand her dementia related issues.

As a caregiver, I have been blessed with LRCare, you and your staff, as well as the nurses that work with Joy on a daily basis. I thank you all. We are very blessed to have your knowledge, care, direction, professionalism and ethics supporting us. I appreciate all that you have done and look forward to an ongoing relationship that will benefit Joy in her oncoming years.

As we know dementia is a progressive disease that does not improve so we will have some trials yet to face. I feel confident that we will do this together and Joy, with all her medical conditions, will be well taken care of. I respect and appreciate your efforts in the care of all of your residents. You are doing a Great Job.

Thank You,

Transferring our mom to LRCare was truly life-changing for our entire family.

After a devastating experience at a large, corporate-owned memory care facility that nearly cost our mom her life, we were desperate to find a place where she would be treated with genuine care and compassion. From the moment we met Lorna, Rolly, and their incredible team, we knew we had found something special.

The caregivers at LRCare are not just staff—they are family. Their kindness, patience, and devotion to their residents shine through in everything they do. They provide warm, home-cooked meals and balanced nutrition, which have made a remarkable difference in our mom’s health. When she first arrived, she was on hospice care and considered terminal. Thanks to the love, attention, and nourishing environment at LR Boarding Care, she has become a healthy and stable resident once again.

We can’t express enough gratitude to Lorna, Rolly, and their loving team for saving our mom’s life and restoring her quality of living. They are true angels, and we will forever be thankful for the care and compassion they show every single day!
